The ingredients include milk, sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, glucose syrup, glucose-fructose syrup, vegetable fats (palm, shea), humectant (glycerol), emulsifiers (E442, E476), color (paprika extract), and flavorings. The milk chocolate contains a minimum of 20% milk solids (23% effective), with vegetable fats in addition to cocoa butter.

The flavor profile relies on an irresistible contrast between the smooth and creamy Cadbury milk chocolate coating and the sweet, gooey center that makes up 40% of the product. This goo replicates the iconic Creme Egg filling, with its runny texture and intensely sweet taste. Paprika extract provides the characteristic yellow-orange hue reminiscent of the original Creme Egg yolk. Despite its name, this bar contains no eggs – hence the slogan "All Goo, No Egg".
