The history of the Mounds bar began in 1919 when Peter Halajian sold his candy door to door. So during the Second World War, following a shortage of sugar and coconuts, he decided to focus on a coconut chocolate bar . It was then long after that that the Mounds and Almonds bars joined the Hershey's Company, in 1980.
Specializing in the manufacture of confectionery since 1894, the American brand HERSHEY'S is a reference today in American culture. A confectionery giant, the brand is considered the Willy Wonka made in the USA !
