Like all Tic Tacs, each Fruit Adventure candy is the result of a meticulous 24-hour manufacturing process. At the heart of each candy, a delicate center is coated with 100 successive layers of flavor, creating that characteristic texture that melts gradually in your mouth, releasing its fruity aromas. These lozenges are certified gluten-free and GMO-free , with real dried fruit extracts (acerola, green apple, passion fruit) in their composition. The Tic Tac brand was born in 1969 in Italy, created by Michele Ferrero, son of founder Pietro Ferrero, who had launched the company in Alba (Piedmont) in 1946. Originally called "Refreshing Mints," these little candies were renamed Tic Tac in 1970 – an onomatopoeic name inspired by the characteristic "tick-tock" sound made by the tin lid. The iconic Orange flavor followed in 1974, and the range has continually expanded since then. Today sold in over 100 countries, 35% of the world's Tic Tacs are made at the Ferrero factory in Cork, Ireland.
