C. Howard's Peppermint are classic American lozenges made with real peppermint oil . Since 1934, the C. Howard Company has used natural essential oil to produce an intensely peppermint flavor with a remarkably mild taste. A refreshing candy with authentic character, made in New York.
C. Howard's Peppermint lozenges stand out for their quality ingredients: C. Howard Company uses genuine peppermint oil rather than artificial flavorings. The result is a lozenge with an intense yet surprisingly mild flavor, without the harshness sometimes found in commercially produced mints. A touch of vanillin rounds out the flavor profile for perfect balance.
Each lozenge features the signature square shape of the Choward's brand, with the name embossed on it. The texture is firm yet melts in your mouth, gradually releasing its minty aroma. The refreshing effect is immediate and long-lasting, pleasantly freshening breath for several minutes after consumption.
These lozenges are ideal as a breath freshener after meals, during business meetings, or simply for a quick energy boost during the day. Their compact size makes them easy to slip into a pocket or bag. Unlike chewing gum, they can be consumed discreetly in any situation.
Tip : Let the lozenge dissolve slowly under your tongue to maximize the cooling effect. Choward's Peppermint lozenges are also popular for calming minor travel sickness thanks to the soothing properties of natural peppermint.
C. Howard Company Inc. was founded by Charles Howard in the 1930s in New York City. In a small industrial loft on Broadway, he first created the famous Choward's Violet, which he sold on the sidewalks of Manhattan. Building on this success, he developed Scented Gum and then expanded his line to include Peppermints , Spearmints, and Lemon Mints. Choward's distinguishing feature is its commitment to natural ingredients: genuine essential oils of peppermint, spearmint, and lemon, depending on the variety. After Charles Howard's death in 1965, Elizabeth Juhase took over the reins, followed by her nephews Kenneth and Arthur Pratz in the 1970s. Today, based in Bellport, New York, the company continues nearly 90 years of tradition. Made in the USA .
