Realizing that the machine used to produce Little Shortbread Fingers (shortcakes filled with strawberries) remains unused outside of the six weeks of the strawberry season, he invents a small cake filled with banana cream.
Later he would offer Twinkies in different flavors that you can find on Pop's America.
