Reese Candy Company in the basement of his home in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in 1923. From the beginning, Reese used Hershey Company chocolate to make his desserts. Due to the great success of his Reese's Peanut Butter Cups , designed towards the end of 1928, Reese decided to stop producing all the other candies he owned.
