Discover Jacob's Cheddars Original , the British's favorite savory biscuits for their unmistakable real cheese taste! These golden and crunchy crackers are made with 11% cheese powder, half of which is authentic cheddar , giving them a rich, buttery and slightly tangy cheese flavor that melts deliciously on the tongue.

Baked , never fried, Jacob's Cheddars offer a perfectly crisp texture without excess fat. The recipe combines enriched wheat flour, barley malt extract, and autolyzed yeast, which impart subtle umami notes, enhancing the depth of the cheesy flavor. Each biscuit is a little burst of flavor—it's hard to eat just one!

Free from artificial colors and flavors , Jacob's Cheddars are suitable for vegetarians . The palm oil used is RSPO certified (segregated sources), guaranteeing environmentally responsible production. Contains wheat , barley , and milk . May contain traces of sesame, egg, and soy.

Tip : Perfect as an aperitif with an English beer or a glass of wine, Jacob's Cheddars also pair wonderfully with a British cheese board. The English love them topped with Branston Pickle or chutney for a typically British sweet and savory combination! They're also ideal as a snack at the office or for filling a lunchbox.

About Jacob's and Cheddars : The Jacob 's story began in 1851 in Waterford, Ireland , when brothers William Beale Jacob and Robert Jacob , from a Quaker family, founded a small sea biscuit bakery on Bridge Street . By 1852, they had moved to Dublin 's Peter's Row and opened the W. & R. Jacob's Steam Biscuit Factory in 1853. The company invented the legendary Cream Cracker in 1885. In 1914 , Jacob's opened its first English factory in Aintree, Liverpool , which remains the heart of British production today. Mini Cheddars , a snack version of Cheddars, were created in 1984-1985 by McVitie's – an innovation spearheaded by product manager Angela Ellis . The product was an immediate success, becoming a staple in British pubs . In 2014 , United Biscuits transferred its Cheddar products to the Jacob's brand, thus bringing all savory biscuits under a single label. Since 2014 , Jacob's UK has been owned by pladis , a subsidiary of the Turkish group Yıldız Holding . The Aintree factory produces over 55,000 tonnes of product annually. Jacob's holds a 25% market share in the UK savory biscuit market and is a Royal Warrant holder as a biscuit supplier to His Majesty the King.
